The International Travel guide is produced annually. The 64 page guide is printed in full color on enamel (slick) paper; 325,000 copies are distributed. About 100,000 copies are direct mailed in response to ad inquiries; 100,000 copies are distributed at USA consumer shows and at USA travel information centers; 100,000 copies are distributed at Canadian consumer shows and travel information centers. About 60% of the publication's cost are advertising supported, additional support is provided by the Thousand Islands Bridge Authority, Federal Bridge Corporation Ltd of Canada, Jefferson County New York, and the Thousand Islands - St. Lawrence Seaway Marketing Partnership (Canada).
This 16-page full-color publication promotes fishing and hunting in Jefferson County, focusing on services available on Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River. The booklet includes listings of Charter Captains and Hunting Guides. The Council will direct mail about 10,000 copies to ad inquiries.
As an outreach to the military stationed in the region, the Council publishes a Military Visitors Guide with helpful information for soldiers new to the region as well as their visiting friends and families. The Guide covers the 1000 Islands International Region with additional information on Oswego County and Syracuse.

Black River Guide
Produced by the Council in cooperation with the Tug Hill Commission and the Oneida and Lewis County TPAs, the Black River Guide provides information and maps about this New York State Blueway. The Black River is also promoted by the Council on a specialty website at www.blackriverny.com.
